Janet's first stage appearance was aged seven in a London pantomime. Bitten by the stage bug, she has acted in plays and panto's and has directed both, also writing and adapting scripts. She's an amateur painter in watercolour and acrylics, and has had one-woman shows in towns in Dorset and Somerset. Several designs have been used by greetings card manufacturers. She's often found painting much bigger surfaces when she gives a hand with the scenery. She and her husband lived for several years in America and The Netherlands, but prefer to live in the U.K. She has one son.
