| Ian first went on stage in the mid seventies by chance when he answered the call for men for “Oh What a Lovely War.” He was hooked and for many years appeared in three productions a year, both plays and musicals with Runnymede Drama Group, one of the top groups in Surrey. Due to career moves in the mid eighties/early nineties he wasn’t able to participate until, on moving to Seaton with his wife and family in 1991, he again answered a call for auditionees for “My Fair Lady” with the Testudo Musical Players. He likes playing comedy roles and enjoys pantomime. Ian has made many appearances with Seaton Drama Group in a variety of roles, among his favourites being the waiter in “Out of Order” and Herr Winkelkopf in “Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime” |
